Hello All, Dee here!

Hello and welcome to the Megoomba Fan Club. Here gather the fans and friends of the amazing artist and all-round-great-girl, Meaghan Sass. She's been a great inspiration, always giving more than she takes, and I'm thrilled to be able to say that I've had the privelege of meeting her in person. She's the creator of some of the greatest characters, she's always been willing to do trades and requests, even when she has so much more she should rather be doing, and her caring heart is so big and open that you just have to love her~~!

As some of you may or may not know, Megzie had a hard time the past couple of days over a sort of scandal involving ~bri-chan, whom Megzie had been admiring for a long time. Megz created a fan club for the artist here on Deviantart, and took Bri-chan a bit by suprise. Soon came the flamers, coming to Megzie and the fan club and calling her names left and right. To those of us who consider Megzie a friend, it was a hard time for us just as it was for her. Megzie became so distraught, she requested that the club be banned and she was even considering leaving DA... forever! We couldn't let this happen. A bunch of people got up and requested, pleaded, that she stay and Megz finally agreed when it was Bri-chan who came foreward and appologized for the whole mess. So Megz is staying, but it occured to me that if she had truly left, no one would be able to see her beautiful works or get to know her as I have, so here I've started this club. Megzie doesn't know about the club yet, and we don't want to tell her until we have a few members. We're not asking much, just for some supporters for an artist who's had a hard time.

I'm well aware that the club might get a few flames from the people who originally flamed Megzie, but that doesn't mean I'm going to shut it down. You may call me a stalker for starting a fan club for another DA artist, but that's because I DO STALK MEGZIE!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Fans and friends of Megzie are naturally invited to join (although Megzie herself is forbidden to join... lol) as well as any supporters who wish to show their support, even if they did nothing wrong to this outstanding girl!

TO JOIN-> leave a note with "Joining" in the subject line and you'll be added as soon as one of us gets on. Remember, we don't ask for much, just to be able to place your name in the "members" area down there so Megz knows she has support.

RULES:
1) You have to support Megzie and all other members by not flaming.
2) Have fun with this!
3) No excessive use of profanity. (It is allowed, as long as it is possitive. Ex. La-chan likes to say "HOLY FUCKING FUUMA!" when she sees something cool! lol)

CONTEST
Okay people!! We're having a contest!!! Megz's Birthday is on December 27th I think we should have the club turn out a present for her! This can be anything you think Megzie would like (obviously if you're a fan of her work, you'll kinda know...) All members are aloud to join. The entries will be due here by the 22nd of December and then I (Dee) will combine all the pictures into one big picture for Megz (making sure to put your name by it). Okay, so this isn't really a contest, but it'll be a lot of fun! C'mon!! You know you want to!!

Now, the problem is that we don't want Megz to see the pictures until her birthday... so when you've finished your picture, you can please email it to me (Dee) at sleepwalkingtoomeye@hotmail.com with the subject "Meaghan's B-day Pic by ______" and leave your DA screen name. This is so I don't get confused. On or after the 27th, you're free to upload it if you wish. The pictures will all be combined into one big pic and given to Megzie and will be the clubs first deviation! How's that sound? So please please join! If I have less than three pictures to put in it, I'll be very depressed and if I'm depressed, then you'll all be depressed... lol SO PLEASE ENTER!!!

10-20-03: Okay, we had our peak and now we've slumped a bit. It's been a while since my last update and we only added one other member. C'mon people! We need to come up with an idea to collect people. I was thinking we come up with a contest. Suggestions are welcome! Help us out!
